Why you’ll love this role $80,000 – $130,000 super 4–5 billable hours per day – realistic targets with a strong focus on clinician wellbeing Hybrid working – mix of clinic, community and telehealth, with flexibility for school hours Brand new paediatric clinic – 3 therapy rooms sensory/group room with climbing wall, trampolines, toys & AAC devices $1,500 PD allowance per annum tailored internal training and weekly supervision 2 x paid wellness days per year quarterly team days and a genuinely supportive culture About the clinic Paediatric-only service: 18 months – 18 years Clients come via word of mouth, GP referrals and walk-ins from nearby clinics Director is an experienced Speech Pathologist (19 years) Small, multidisciplinary-minded team: Speech Pathologist, Allied Health Assistant and Paediatric Social Worker (trauma-informed), and Occupational Therapist No hierarchy, open-door culture – learn together and support each other to support clients The role You’ll provide evidence-based, family-centred therapy to children and young people with a range of presentations, including: Autism and other developmental disabilities Feeding and mealtime difficulties Speech and language delays/disorders Stuttering AAC and alternative communication needs Working environment Hybrid model – clinic, limited community (up to 20km from base) and telehealth Travel reimbursed Option to run telehealth sessions from home Flexible start/finish times – including the ability to work around school hours if you have children Day-to-day Manage a paediatric caseload tailored to your interests and strengths Deliver 1:1 and group therapy in the clinic, community or via telehealth Work with families, schools and other stakeholders to support functional outcomes Use modern resources – laptops, AAC devices, sensory equipment and a fully equipped sensory/group room Enjoy full admin support – clinic software and diaries managed with input from you, tailored around how you like to work Billables & KPIs 4–5 billable hours per day , depending on experience and caseload complexity No aggressive KPI bonus scheme – the focus is on quality of care and clinician wellbeing Support, supervision & development 2-week structured induction with shadowing Gradual caseload build over 3 months , at your pace Weekly supervision with the Director New grads receive a 12-month preceptorship program $1,500 annual PD allowance for external courses Internal training tailored to what you want to learn and the skills you want to develop Clear career progression – opportunity to step into a Team Leader role as the service expands What we’re looking for Tertiary qualification in Speech Pathology and SPA membership 1 year experience in paediatrics is ideal – strong new graduates are very welcome to apply Interest in working with children and young people with autism, disability and complex needs A collaborative, can-do attitude and genuine passion for learning Strong communication skills and a family-centred approach Full working rights in Australia Culture & perks 4 weeks of annual leave 2 x paid wellness days per year Quarterly team days and regular team bonding activities Friendly, approachable team with no hierarchy – truly open floor and supportive atmosphere A clinic that’s big on culture, learning and looking after their clinicians , not just numbers Interested?
